Are the calculators really free?
Yes, 100% free forever. No sign-up required, no premium tiers, no hidden limitations. All calculations happen in your browser — we never see or store your financial data. This is a core principle of TaxMaker and will never change.
How do you choose which tools to review?
We review popular tools that our users ask about, emerging AI finance tools gaining traction, and established options in each category. User suggestions are highly valued — use the contact form to recommend a tool! We prioritize tools that solve real problems for real people.
Do you offer financial advice?
No, we are not licensed financial advisors. TaxMaker provides educational content, calculators, and tool reviews to help you make informed decisions. For personalized financial advice, we recommend consulting a certified financial planner (CFP) or accountant (CPA) who understands your specific situation.
How can I support TaxMaker?

Is Canadian tax filing available?
Yes! Our Canadian tax filing service supports T1 (personal) and T2 (corporate) returns. We are working on US (Form 1040) and UK (SA100) tax filing, coming soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when these launch.
How do I report a bug or issue?
Use the contact form above and select "Report a Bug" as the reason. Please include: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, your browser and device type, and any error messages you saw. Screenshots help a lot! We prioritize bug fixes and typically respond within 24 hours.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Not currently, but we are considering it. If you are interested in partnering with TaxMaker or have a financial education platform, use the contact form and select "Partnership Inquiry." We are open to collaborations that benefit our users.
Can I request a feature?
